WWE Monday Night Raw Review 9/29/14

Now I know I have been a little active over the past few days compared to the past year and I hope it can continue. Anyways, lets start this.

Lets start this off with Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins. Considering Dean “stole” Rollins Money in the Bank case last Monday Night, he said on last nights show, if you want the case, come get it. In which Seth did only to be stopped by John Cena. Afterwards, Triple H sent Jamie Noble and Mercury to find Ambrose, which eventually lead to #AmbroseLive on Raw. Ambrose was giving away merchandise to the audience. Seth came out to see his case, a few moments later Dean went through the crowd and looked back as Seth opened the case to be sprayed by some kind of green gunk.

Which you can see that Ambrose is happy about it. Later on in the night we had a tag match between Dean Ambrose & John Cena against Randy Orton & Kane. Which was never finished due to Rollins interfering in the match. We ended Raw with John Cena & Dean Ambrose laid out in the ring.

Another thing is the Cosmic Key that Stardust and Goldust seem to believe the Tag Team titles are. Although, this is weird it fits both of the Rhodes brothers storylines. Goldust has had this weird character for years and now Cody has fell into the lifestyle. They believe the titles with weight there future. How true this is, its highly doubtful. As for the Usos, I’ve seen that most want the Usos to have the titles back. I agree but not for awhile.

Tyson Kidd & Natalya, seems to me there having Marriage problems. Considering through the whole match Kidd paid no attention while Natalya was trying to get him to. Then there was footage of Natalya on Total Divas upset because of the birthday gift Kidd got her. Who else wants to see Kidd get back in the ring? Yes, I know its a random question. But, it seems since he’s been out of the ring he has been fighting with his wife.

To close out this article, next week it has been said that Roman Regins will have a Interview. Who’s to know what Roman has to say, will he go after Seth? or go after the WWE World Heavyweight Championship?

Also Big Show vs. Rusev next week. After Mark Henry failed to beat Rusev, Show promised to knock Rusev out, which he did this past Friday night SmackDown. On Raw last night Show knocked down the Russian flag which is a sign that he’s ready for whatever Rusev dishes out next week. In the words of JBL “We have a giant on our side”.

Has the current WWE product sucked?

Of course this came to my mind after WR posted their thoughts. But lets take a moment to look into it. WWE has a few storylines now that have my attention, at the same time they have storylines that I could careless about. One being Lesner as the WWE World Champion. Anybody that’s watched over the past few years should know that Lesner fits in with the Rock. Rock comes back for a few months, then leaves to make movies again and again. Such as Lesner will leave over and over. But, for the time being Lesner has a part to play. Being that since Seth coasted John Cena the Championship, which interims has Cena feuding with Rollins now. Although, I’m a Cena fan I’m not exactly ready for another Cena Championship run. Need to have someone new as the Champion.

Speaking of John Cena, the feud between him and Rollins includes Dean Ambrose, which was taken out by Rollins and Kane earlier this year by a curb stomp on concert blocks. Which they planned to do to John Cena on Raw after earlier in the night locking Ambrose in a locker room in the back. Which when Rollins and Kane opened the box popped out Ambrose. I can see Randy Orton stepping in sooner or later which will most likely bring Roman Regins in. Considering Roman and Randy have been feuding as well.

One other thing I look at is the Rhodes and the Usos. I’m a bit happy about Goldust and Cody Rhodes aka Star Dust being heels. Also, Cody’s gimmick is actually something I seen coming, considering Goldust had his weird gimmick and with Cody having the weird Dashing gimmick I somehow seen this coming. As for this feud, I would like to see the Usos get the titles back, but at the same time I hope the Rhodes hold on for awhile. Considering Goldust is getting close to retirement himself. I don’t see another main title run for Goldust.

As for the Diva Division, Brie & Nikki Bella. I actually like this feud, seeing Nikki become the heel. If we look at this though, over the past few months the focus has been on Brie Bella leaving Nikki completely out of the picture. The two that shared the spot light, one drops the other and the “darkness” takes over. I see this feud ending with the two making up like every family does.

Now then as for I’d like to see over the next few months is CM Punk returning. We have a Champion with no challengers, CM Punk has had a feud with Lesner in the past when he turned his back on Paul Heyman. Heyman sent his client Brock Lesner after Punk. I believe this would be the perfect time for Punk to return to the WWE. Although, with how WWE is, it may not happen till sometime next year.

Raw Review 10/7/2013

WWE Monday Night Raw tonight started out with Stephanie McMahon talking about what happened between the Daniel Bryan/Randy Orton WWE Championship at the Battleground Pay-Per-View. She was talking about how Big Show interfered and knocked out not just Daniel Bryan but the Ref and Randy Orton. She went on to call Big Show out to the ring. Big Show and said “I knocked out Randy Orton because I was tired of him, I knocked out Daniel Bryan because you told me to”. Stephanie started slapping Show, then fired him. Show got out of the ring with a smile on his face and left saying “I’m fired”.

Soon after it went back to the Raw General Manager’s Office. You seen Brad Maddox’s getting yelled at by Stephanie about what Big Show did.  Stephanie told him, he will have to apologize to the WWE Universe because of it. Brad comes to the stage and apologizes and announces that there will be a rematch for the WWE Championship between Daniel Bryan and Randy Orton at WWE Pay-Per-View Hell in the Cell! Also the WWE Universe could vote for the special ref for the match. The three choices were WWE Hall of Famer’s. First was Booker T, later on Bob Bockland, and last was Shawn Micheals. Later in the night, Shawn was chosen to be the ref.

Alberto Del Rio decided to try flirting with Vickie Guerrero before his match. At first Vickie made it seem like it worked when she said his opponent was Ricardo. But she had a second message as soon as the bell rung. The message was that, Alberto will defend his World Heavyweight Championship at WWE Hell in a Cell against John Cena. Cena was out due to an injury, but seems he has a title shot wait. Alberto didn’t take the news well. As he was yelling, Ricardo came from behind and pull Del Rio in for the pin and won the match. Soon after Del Rio went after Ricardo, knocked him backwards on the announcers table. Then kicked his head in. He also wrapped his arm in a steel chair and put the cross arm breaker on him.

MizTV didn’t happen tonight, at the start the Wytt Family showed up. They cornered  Miz, lucky Miz was able to get past them.

The Main Event, after Daniel Bryan, Goldust, and Cody Rhodes started to take over.  The shield made a DQ. Which lead to Triple H restarting as a No DQ match. The Shield had the advantage over Goldust and Cody, when Bryan seen it. He bolted out of the ring to take out Roman and Rains. Then who came out of the crowd? Randy Orton! Who RKO’d Bryan, which lead to the Shield winning. After the match the Shield started attacking Goldust, Cody, & Bryan. Triple H was watching outside the ring until he heard the theme of the Big Show. Big Show came back and went after Triple H, even though Triple H had gotten in the ring and hidden behind the shield. Big Show came in, and for awhile it looked as though Big Show was beaten. Out of no where, he knocked all three members out of the ring, then for a few seconds stared at Triple H. Then he knocked Triple H out and left. Then Bryan came in and stood over Triple H with a smile on his face. The show ended with Bryan chanting Yes! Yes! Yes!

I give Raw a 9/10, I would wanted to see the MizTV.
