For those that watched this years Royal Rumble seen Roman Regins win the Rumble. Now there’s the question if he’s got what it takes to be champion. Is he championship metrical? As for this, everyone has there own opinion. I for one missed the Rumble, got the results from friends that did watch. Lets take a look back on Roman for a few, he first showed up as a rookie on NXT. Then later on join the faction called The Shield with Dean Ambrose & Seth Rollins. Which first attacked John Cena during his match against CM Punk, which in terms cost Cena the match. The Shield became big due to that, eventually they ran across one of WWE best factions Evolution, “The Game” Triple H, “The Animal” Batista & “The Viper” Randy Orton. Although, this feud ended with Seth Rollins turning on The Shield by hitting Roman with a steel chair on Raw to join the Authority. Regins was now in singles and was getting a push that you can see now at the Rumble.
As for the fact that there are many on the list that most believe should’ve gotten a push before Roman, the fact is the reaction that Roman gets plays a row. A big pop in crowed when he comes out. With the “Power Couple” in charge saying what’s best for business. Roman in a title match fits. Now then with that said, my piece in this. Roman was one of my top 5 to win the Rumble. Even though he has won the Rumble, I don’t think he’ll win at WrestleMania. If by some chance he does, I see Rollins cashing in. I’ve been hearing that Lesnar will lose the title at WrestleMania and leave the WWE once again. This has been expected for awhile. As for this feud between the Shield members. I wouldn’t mind seeing Dean Ambrose vs. Seth Rollins vs. Roman Regins for the WWE Championship. Through that may or may not happen, think it’d be a match.
With WWE Money in the Bank happening tonight, I decided to go ahead and post my thoughts on the Pay Per View. So lets start this off with the WWE World Heavyweight Championship match.
I would say the crowd favorites for this match are Roman Reigns, Bray Whytt, Sheamus, John Cena, or Randy Orton. But, how I see this match ending is the opposite of what happened on SmackDown when Kane let Randy climb the Ladder. I see it getting down to the point where its just Randy & Kane left then having Kane turn on Orton to pick up the victory. But, I did think this over as well. Randy & Kane could end up knocking each other out. This is where my 2nd pick comes in, now I know this is probably someone that most aren’t going to like. But, my 2nd pick is John Cena. The only reason I say that for is because how long has it been since we’ve seen Cena holding the titles?
Next up is the Money in the Bank Contract Match
For this one my pick is Kofi, mainly due to him needing a push. Dean and Seth are going to be going after each other so you can’t really say their in the match. Barrett is already holding a title, if he wins I see him losing the IC title shortly after. Ziggler, Swagger, & RVD have already won Money in the Bank before so they are most likely the hand picked favorites of this match.
Let me be the first to say, I’m not into much of the Diva matches. But, the Rookie Champion has impressed me. Although, to me this could be the match that she loses the Championship. My money on Naomi.
The Whytt Family vs. The Usos. I’m going for the whytt’s on this one. These two teams have faced off in the past, such as during the story line between Cena & Bray. As during Tag Title defenses, which the Usos have won. But this time I believe the Whytt’s have their number.
Tonight on Raw we seen Vickie Guerrero get fired after being thrown in a pool of what looked like crap, but she didn’t leave quietly, she throw Stephanie McMahon into the pool as well. Now history shows this isn’t the first time “crap” has been used or involved a McMahon. In the past D-Generation-X also dumped crap onto both Vince McMahon & Shane McMahon. As to what shocked me, was the fact that Vickie came out to Eddie & Chavo’s Tag Team theme.
As for the Shield, we can go ahead and say it’s officially over considering that the only time you hear the theme is when Roman Reigns is coming to the ring. There’s also the fact that when Dean is going after Seth, Roman is nowhere to be found. But, as of tonight Dean has been added to the Money in the Bank latter match because Seth claims he can still win due to no cheap shots from Dean. Although, I don’t see either winning the match.
Of course the Main Event of the night a 4 on 3 Handicap match. The ending to the match had Sheamus get the pin fall allowing him, Reigns, & Cena the win. But, shortly after Kane came to the ring. He took out Reigns on the outside then went after Sheamus, Del Rio & John Cena. Triple H then came out and announced that Kane was the last one to enter the WWE/World Heavyweight Championship match which is what most knew already. Before Kane could do his exit, Reigns delivered a Spear then turned his focus to the stage where Randy Orton & Triple H we’re standing. As for the Pay-Per-View I see this ending with either Kane or Reigns as the winner. Most likely Randy & Kane will work together, I’m sure Triple H has it planed for Kane to help Orton win. But instead Kane takes the titles for himself. One last run before retirement.
Shocking wend to Raw tonight as Seth Rollins takes a chair to Roman Reigns & Dean Ambrose. It’s left people all over the IWC wondering why he did this to the guys he’s been partnered with for so long. As they said tonight, they are brothers. It’s clear that Seth doesn’t consider them brothers. As Randy Orton & Triple H made their way to the ring. Triple H stated that there’s always a “Plan B”. As Roman had his back turned to Seth, Seth took the steel chair he got earlier and struck Roman with it, Dean’s steps aside in shock then goes after Seth in an emotional rage, only to be taken down and repeatedly hit with the steel chair. Afterwards, Seth left the ring and went to Triple H & Randy Orton, he handed Orton the chair. Then we seen Orton go into the ring and give some hits with it to.
Now then, earlier in the night, Batista quit the WWE. Which is where I believe this comes into play, considering Triple H wanted to continue this feud. With Batista gone, you had the feeling someone would replace the void, but at the same time. You knew that the Shield would end, rather if through egos or cracks from the pressure the COO puts on them. For me, I expected one member to turn on the others. But, I had hoped it would’ve been Roman. But, Seth is also the other member I like.
As for Raw next week, its clear that we’ll see a “Why I Did It” promo out of Seth. But, lets look back to a few months ago when Seth said he was the one holding the Shield together. What’s going to happen to the Shield now that Seth is gone? How will Roman & Dean adapt to this? They adapted to beating Evolution at Payback, but that was with Seth still being apart of the Shield. Also, does Seth join Evolution or does he branch out on his own?
As for Seth going out on his own, I believe he has what it takes to be the WWE/World Heavyweight Champion. At the same time, I believe WWE will keep him around the US, Tag Team, & Intercontinental Championships.
Mark William Calaway better known as “The Undertaker” was known as the “Dead Man” in the WWE. Over his career he held a streak at one Pay Per View known as Wrestlemania. Yet, this past Wrestlemania Undertaker lost to Brock Lesner which Paul Heyman isn’t letting anyone have any peace over it. As for the future for Taker, it’s expected that he retires from the WWE. Yet, I see him coming back for one last strike from “Beyond the Grave”. Considering that Heyman is still bloating about the match.
Undertaker was known as “Mean” Mark Callous in World Championship Wrestling (WCW) in 1989-1990, he later signed to World Wrestling Federation now World Wrestling Entertainment. He became “The Undertaker” when he signed and teamed with his “half brother” Kane to form The Brothers of Destruction. By 1991 Undertaker had became the WWF Champion. Mark is a four time WWF/WWE Champion, Three time WWF/WWE World Champion, One time USWA Unified World Heavyweight Champion, Six time WWF/WWE World Tag Team Champion, One time WCW World Tag Team Champion, One time WWF Hardcore Champion, & One time WCWA Texas Heavyweight Champion.
The Shield sent a message on SmackDown tonight, after being put in yet another 11 on 3 Handicap match, they attacked the Superstars they we’re going to face in the main event. After attacking some Superstars earlier in the night such as Jack Swagger, Fandango, & the General Manager in place of Vickie Guerrero, Brad Maddox. The Shield also took out 3MB & Curtis Axel, which lead to the main event where the Shield took on 5 opponents rather then the 11 that was suppose to take place. The Shield faced; Alberto Del Rio, Bad News Barrett, Damien Sandow, Ryback & Titus O’Neil, in a 5 on 3 Handicap match. Barrett & Del Rio desided to leave the match early and was attacked by Roman Reigns. The Shield won the match, but weren’t done quite yet, they triple powerbomb’d Ryback in the ring, sending a message to Evolution that their ready for Extreme Rules.
In other news, Stephanie McMahon says she’ll personally apologize to Daniel Bryan on Raw next week, due to the actions that Kane did this past Raw.
The fourth member of Evolution is rumored to be making an appearance on Raw, will we see “The Nature Boy” Ric Flair rejoin Evolution? Or will there be a rookie join? Who knows?
Rob Van Dam takes on Bad News Barrett next week to find out the #1 Contender for Big E’s Championship on Raw.
David Cash or better known as Kid Kash was a Superstar in World Wrestling Entertainment, Total Non-Stop Action, & Extreme Championship Wrestling. Kash was one of the “High Flyers” in the Wrestling world, taking risks even if they didn’t go as planned. In November 1996 Kash made his debut in the land of extreme ECW. As David Tyler Morton Jericho, went to Philadelphia with friend and sometimes tag team partner “Heavy Metal” Ric Savage. Rob Van Dam was the first person to introduce Kash to Paul Heyman. At Living Dangerously on March 12, 2000, Kash won the ECW World Heavyweight Champion after beating Mike Awesome.
On August 14, 2002, Kash re-emerged in TNA in the X-Division. Later on in his career he faced James Storm, Dusty Rhodes, Jeff Hardy, A.J. Styles. On March 31, 2004 Kash teamed up with Dallas to win the NWA World Tag Team Championship and the pair picked the titles up a second time on April 21 before losing them to America’s Most Wanted in June 2004. On April 20, 2005, TNA announced that Kash was released from his TNA contract, after months of criticizing the company. He signed with WWE after released from TNA.
Kash’s first appearance on television was as one of many interferes in the main event at ECW One Night Stand. His first official proper WWE outing, however, was the June 19, 2005 airing of Sunday Night Heat against Tajiri in what was designated a tryout match. On June 23 he said in an interview that “You never know what the company is looking for. I might not be what they’re looking for. I can only hope“, indicating that he continued to pursue of the WWE contract. After losing Cruiserweight Championship, Kash began to frequently tag team with fellow cruiserweight Jamie Noble to take on the face members of the cruiserweight division; during May 2006, Kash and Noble used a gimmick previously seen in ECW, where they wore dog collars, often barked at and bit opponents, and wrestled rather aggressively and soon after the team formed Kash got a new haircut. The pair were soon named The Pit Bulls and entered the hunt for Paul London and Brian Kendrick’s WWE Tag Team Championship. On July 23 at The Great American Bash, he and Noble were defeated by London and Kendrick, this was Kash’s last WWE pay-per-view appearance. On the September 29 episode of SmackDown, he and Noble were defeated by K. C. James and Idol Stevens in a tag team match, this was Kash’s last appearance in WWE. On September 27, 2006, WWE announced that Kash was released from his WWE contract.
